It is with heavy heart and sadness that we said good bye to Lyyli on Thursday at almost 12 years old. The foundation of Gunstrux, she came to the UK for a very precious 6 months in 2002 to have a litter and for that I will forever be indebted to Teija Kuusisto. Lyyli stole my heart and left an amazing legacy in her offspring here which now continues in her grandchildren. I thank Teija for letting me handle her to Group 1 at a wonderful 9 years old at Vaasa, she ran my little legs off!. Lyyli was a true showgirl and had a personality bigger than the world itself. Mother to 3 Champions and grandmother to more than I can mention, She will be sorely missed and leaves a huge gap. My heart goes out to Teija.
