Heinaaron Tuo Tulipano (Lyyli)
It is with heavy heart and sadness that we said good bye to Lyyli on Thursday at almost 12 years old. The foundation of Gunstrux, she came to the UK for a very precious 6 months in 2002 to have a litter and for that I will forever be indebted to Teija Kuusisto. Lyyli stole my heart and left an amazing legacy in her offspring here which now continues in her grandchildren. I thank Teija for letting me handle her to Group 1 at a wonderful 9 years old at Vaasa, she ran my little legs off!. Lyyli was a true showgirl and had a personality bigger than the world itself. Mother to 3 Champions and grandmother to more than I can mention, She will be sorely missed and leaves a huge gap. My heart goes out to Teija.
The picture is of Lyyli in the UK at Richmond 2002 with her daughter Miska the day after they arrived in the UK and Lyyli's husband "Moose" 3 of my most favourite dogs in the whole world

Welsh KC - Top Puppy Competition 2010
Yesterday saw us at the Top Puppy and Top Dog competition in Llandrindod Wells with Gunstrux Peppermint Patty and Gunstrux Francesco for Zakro.
41 puppies and my fab little Lotti out did herself and made it to the last 4 only to be beaten by the declared Top Puppy. I am so proud of her.
Francesco sadly was up against a stunner in the first round but he looked fabulous as always and moved like a dream.
What an amazing event. Huge well done to the committee for the organisation and attention to detail. Very impressive and a fabulous day/night out. Can't wait for next year!
Big thanks to Barbra Scandrett, great company, we had such a laugh but were suffering the next day!!!

Field Trial News......... from Finland
Great Results again!
Gunstrux Veni Vidi Vici achieved a fabulous 3rd place in Open Class and Miskas son from her Finnish litter Heinaaron Ferrari Enzo was a fantastic 2nd in Open. Congratulations to all proving they are smart as well as handsome!!

Happy Birthday Miska 05.02.2010
Today Miska celebrated her 8th Birthday and so is now officially an FCI Veteran also. She enjoyed a chicken breakfast and a half sheeps head for lunch.... disgusting but she seemed happy. How time is flying!! She still has the energy of the youngsters and will be accompanying me to some of the shows next year.
